When I first moved to California, I lived in the tiny town of Nipomo. While Nipomo didn’t have a Tamale Guy, it did have a Tamale Lady. She’d just show up some days, unannounced, with tons and tons of cheap (and delicious!) tamales. I haven’t seen her since I moved to San Luis Obispo. Too bad. Those tamales ruled.
